We are an active family that loves animals and the outdoors. Our family thrives on sunshine and companionship.
Erin has a degree in Zoology and managed a veterinary hospital until Avery was born. She currently manages a busy local dance studio and is the volunteer leader for the local 4-H club and volunteers as a youth dog trainer 4-H dog spin club.
Aaron has a degree in Industrial Design and spent most of his adult years behind a computer designing trade show exhibits. In 2020 he decided he was done with a desk and wanted to spend more time outdoors and became an Arborist. His favorite hobbies include building and flying model airplanes, gardening and cooking.
Vanessa, our youngest, is all about art and animals, especially cats. She has said since she was a preschooler that she is going to become a cheetah trainer when she grew up.
Avery has a love for all things animal and Irish Step Dancing. Both girls enjoy Cross-Country running, Contemporary Lyrical and Ballet dance, and reading. As a family we have been fostering pregnant mom's and litters for a herding breed rescue since moving to the area in 2011. Our hobby farm is home to a spoiled Irish Cob, numerous friendly chickens, peafowl, a blind "Chowder" (pictured), a rescued Border Collie, a rescued Great Pyrenees, a Polish Tatra Sheepdog, and our Bengal cats.

Our Bengal Story
A love for the wild spirit of past cats attracted us to the Bengal breed.
Erin has always enjoyed her cats to be smart and social and found that Siamese mix cats suited the personality and longevity that she prefers. Our oldest daughter, Avery, became involved in dog showing and our younger daughter, Vanessa, inquired about the possibility to show cats. As all of our cats had reached or were reaching the rainbow bridge Erin told her to start looking into what breed of cat she might like to add to our family. While volunteering as a ring steward at an obedience dog show Erin was told that one of the competitors also showed cats. We introduced ourselves to Mary, who, it turned out was involved in Maine Coons and Bengals, the two breeds our family had selected as a good fit. Mary invited us up to a bench show and we were able to meet many purebred cats and speak with their breeders. After watching the competition and speaking with the cat fanciers we were hooked. We further researched both breeds and found that the Bengal would suit our lifestyle the best. We interviewed breeders, found a mentor, and then we waited for the right kittens to arrive!
